Summer Social

Tickets are on sale now for CGC’s 2026 Summer Social featuring Coach Jimmy Rogers & the Mike Lacey Gridiron Golf Classic to be held on Thursday, July 23 at Talons Golf at 1505 NE 36th Street Ankeny, Iowa. 

The Mike Lacey Gridiron Golf Classic registration features a great day at Dennis Albaugh’s beautiful Talons Golf – 18 holes in a best shot format, friendly competitions, along with food and refreshments. Golfing is followed by a happy hour, access to the car collection, live and silent auctions, and the Iowa Outlaws BBQ dinner. 

Register for the Golf event here. If you do not have a full foursome, email Jay Chapman at jay@cyclonegridironclub.com and he will place you with a team. Golf check-in starts at 10:30 AM, shotgun start at 11:30 AM, with lunch on the course.

Note:  Due to the high demand, the golf event is a CGC members only event. Membership will be verified, and new members can join at any general membership level of $100 or above. Join the Cyclone Gridiron Club here.

The Summer Social includes:  ISU Coaches (including Coach Rogers as the featured speaker), fundraiser games, raffles, auctions, one of the most exclusive car collections anywhere, and a great BBQ dinner from Iowa Outlaws BBQ sponsored by the Absolute Group. The Summer Social event starts at 4:00 PM, dinner is at 5:00 PM.  Cost is $50/person
